The black sheep.....

Well if this isn't messed up. My parents call and say that my Uncle wants to bring Kenny to the beach today. Specifically asks to bring Kenny, nothing about inviting Kenny and "I" to the beach. Since I have been sick the last few days, and it was 90+ degrees outside I didn't much about it, plus it would give me time to do some work in peace and have some Mommy Time!

Well my parents call on the way back and state that they want to bring "Kenny" out to eat and that they are coming to my place to change him into his clean clothes. Again, I am not invited to go out, but just incase my mom decides to invite me, I get dressed and put my makeup on. As usual, as soon as she walks in the door nothing but criticisms. Now I know why I have the anxiety disorders that I have. I wish I would have realized it before now.

If the roles were reversed I would include all of my family. Every family member in Florida is now sitting at dinner without me.

Peter Jennings With Lung Cancer

Entertainment - Tampa Bay's 10 News - WTSP: "Peter

Please pray for Peter Jennings!

Jennings diagnosed with lung cancer

NEW YORK (AP) -- Peter Jennings has a lot on his mind right now since he's been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Since he's going to have chemotherapy he's wondering 'if other men and women ask their doctors right away: `O-K, doc, when does the hair go?'' That quip came at the end of his newscast last night, in a taped message to
viewers.

Jennings says as long as he feels O-K, he'll keep working, even through chemo. And, even though he just went public about his condition yesterday, he says he's been overwhelmed by the
outpouring of concern about his health"

Weird News - Is this weird?

Weird News - Tampa Bay's 10 News - WTSP

Is this weird? With Tampa being one of the #1 places for adult entertainment, why is this weird? At least they are not spreading disease and infidelity. Makes me wonder!

Nudist tourism puts on a layer of opulence

The once bare-bones ambience of the archetypal U.S. nudist camp is turning posh as owners add amenities from full-service spas to high-speed Internet. But there's still no need to dress for dinner.

In fact, much of the industry has cast off the term ``camp'' in favor of ``resort'' in the conviction that it better reflects the growing number of upscale venues.

``The bar has been raised,'' says Nancy Tiemann, owner of Bare Necessities, an Austin travel agency that specializes in nude travel.``(Nudist resorts) have come from being 5 miles down a dirt road behind a junkyard fence to really upscale resorts that are a far cry from that.''

Driving the trend, they say, is the growing number of mainstream vacationers who don't necessarily identify themselves as nudists but
nevertheless are willing to shed their inhibitions at a nudist resort.

At the same time, they're not willing to sacrifice a certain level of service and comfort.

``We addressed a market segment that has heretofore not been addressed,'' says Stephen Payne, founder of Desert Shadows Inn Resort & Villas in Palm Springs, Calif., where rooms start at about $200 a night. ``These people don't belong to any nudist organization. They're
not pitching tents. They visit us just like they would any other resort.''

But besides concierge service and the like, Desert Shadows offers amenities not encountered in so-called textile resorts. There's nude hot-air ballooning, in-the-buff moonlit hikes and naked drive-bys (via tour bus) of the homes of Palms Springs' rich and famous. Among other upscale developments in naked travel:

- The year-old Caliente Resort and Spa north of Tampa sports a 33,000-square-foot clubhouse with spa and meeting facilities and five dining venues. Resort homes start at $400,000-plus.

- Bare Necessities Tour & Travel has sold out summer nude European cruises with fares ranging from $2,295 to $6,595. A Caribbean cruise
in February already is 80 percent sold out. ``Fifteen years ago, the cruise lines wouldn't take my calls. Now they're jockeying for our business,'' says Tiemann.

- At Paradise Lakes Resort near Tampa, the latest additions to the 510 housing units, starting at $250,000, have sold out before
construction commences. Nude recreation grew tremendously in the 1990s and is now a $400 million industry, according to the American Association for Nude Recreation. The group has almost 50,000 members and 270 affiliated
clubs and resorts. Still, a 2005 poll commissioned by the AANR indicates that the vast majority of Americans aren't exactly itching to take it all off in front of strangers. A mere 14 percent gave an unqualified thumbs up to the idea. Regardless, the industry stresses its family-oriented nature amid increasingly upscale trappings. ``We're selling nudity, not sex,'' says Caliente's Carrie Schultz. Adds Desert Shadow's Payne. ``There's never been a hooker here. And God knows, I don't have to worry about strippers at bachelor parties.'"

Two Strangers in the Night....

Life on little sleep....Hmmm..It's been a while since I have gone without so little sleep, so if I sound redundant than you know why. :-)

Anyway. I worked a little on the phone lines this morning, waiting for my special caller to call ;-) He did and I was very happy. Ever wonder what makes two people connect on a spiritual or emotional level where the chemistry is intense, yet you have an idea what each other looks like, but you really don't care. How many people in this world can connect on a metaphysical or immaterial way and when they meet in person they still have that strong bond that they created before they ever laid eyes on each other.

Do you know how rare it is for someone to find a person to connect with on this level by chance?

A long time ago I fell in love with a man named Al. I was young and naive but I was a different person then. I almost, to a certain extent, wish I could become the old me again. The old me who was free spiritually, emotionally. I remember just getting in my old, half broken down car and just driving to Montreal, for no reason other than to go for a drive. It was a 2 hour drive in upstate rural NY. I could have broken down. I had no cell phone. I rarely had any money in my pocket for emergencies, just maybe some gas money, but back then gas was about $0.60 a gallon and I had a T-1000 Pontiac. I never worried about anything. Fear never took over my life like it does now.

Ok back to Al. Al was a married guy who lived in NYC and had 5 kids. He was 35ish when I met him. I was about 19. I was living in Montreal at the time. I was helping set up some alternative type BBSes in Montreal before the Internet was big. This is about 16+ years ago. I was a SySop of several BBSes. I was also very homesick for the States (USA). I saw a posting on a Gay BBS about a guy from NY (AL) who wanted someone to show him around town. I thought he was gay and really didn't care because I just wanted a friend.

To keep it short, we connected on the same metaphysical level as me and this new guy. Al was my soul mate, yet it was very wrong for us to be together for obvious reasons. I never knew what true love was until I met him. I was not attracted to him at all physically when I met him for the first time. I didn't even know he was black by talking to him on the phone. More about this is in my book in progress. Al died 3 years after we met from drinking so heavily. I never loved anyone like that again. Is it true we only get one real chance at love, or we only have one soul-mate in a lifetime? Could I have blown my one chance years ago?

Funny things happen at funny times...Every man I have ever had a connection with had "Al" in their name. And my new friends name is Al.......

Yes we moved back to the old system!

Just me!

Ok I have switched back to Blogger. I don't know what is up with B2 but my writers could not post or publish anything, so I will stick with what I know works. I will try and capture all of my old posts from B2 but don't hold your breath.

There is nothing wrong with a fresh start anyways :-)

I will be in the back ground here working. So check back, I am always working.

Hostage situation in NJ - 4 Month old baby

I turned on the news just a few minutes ago wanting something good to watch on TV while I ate my sandwhich for lunch. CNN has a breaking news report about a 4 month old baby and the baby's mom is being held hostage by the baby's father. The man shot the baby's grandfather in the leg and I guess he is in surgery right now. They issued a brief amber alert but dismissed it.

I wonder why our children are being attacked? Every day I hear about kids being abducted, abused, terrorized in our schools by other kids. It's horrible! What is our world coming to? I decided to place the amber code on my website, maybe someone visiting my website will see this code and will be able to help with a missing child. I am going to add my code to my other websites also.

We all need to pray on a daily basis for our kids and focus more on a healthy family life.

LiningUp.net - Get in Line for Star Wars Episode III in Hollywood!

LiningUp.net - Get in Line for Star Wars Episode III in Hollywood!

I thought I was hearing this this morning on the radio about people standing in line for weeks waiting for Star Wars to open up. As much as I love charity work, and I have done my share of charity work, I could never stand in line for hours not to mention weeks! Do these people have jobs? kids? They have 41 days, 18 hours, 42 minutes left to stand in line.

Well I have to go to work now..Ciao everyone!

Finals week in school...Team members no where to be seen!

Sometimes I wonder why universities make students join learning teams. This is our finals week and a team paper is due tonight. There are only 5 people on my team, only 3 people turned in their section of the final team paper! I was the leader this week and I told everyone if it's not in by 11PM EST its being posted. I try and maintain a 4.0 GPA and after Josh died it's now a 3.4 which is not good for me. Even when I was in the IT program which was a little harder for me, I always had a 3.8 or 4.0 GPA and was on honors list. If I stay on honors I get more scholarships and grants.

For all my groupies who email me or IM me sorry I haven't posted in a few days..Life has been hectic. My landlord is trying to file eviction papers because I am 3 days late with rent, I have until Friday 4PM to pay my rent. I got a new job today with a great company so that helps tremendously! Hopefully I will get 40 hours a week of work and I can stop doing all of these little projects that drive me nuts. I may sell my clutter on eBay still but that doesn't take much time at all. I am excited about my new job, of course I will keep you all posted.

Well, I guess I will clean for a half hour then I am uploading my team paper to school and then I am off from school for 10 days..woo hoo..

Ciao folks,,, until next time......Blessings......
